Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs is not only a leading higher education institution that trains highly qualified specialists for the Ministry of Internal Affairs system, but also a powerful scientific center, where the development of scientific potential is one of the priority areas of activity.

On the instructions of the Director of the ERI No. 5 of KhNUIA, Oksana BRUSAKOVA, a meeting was held dedicated to preparing for the Unified State Comprehensive Exam (USCE). The event was attended by Deputy Director Daria KOROBTSOVA and the guarantor of the educational and professional program 081 "Law" Volodymyr KROITOR.

The scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Criminology and Forensic Expertise of the ERI #1 organized a practical lesson for cadets on the subject "Policeman's Actions at the Scene of an Incident". The lesson took place at a specially equipped location that simulated the scene of the execution of civilians.

3rd year cadets of the ERI No. 3 of KhNUIA continue to improve their English language skills using the Easy English program. This time, the lesson was devoted to studying English tenses, which are the basis for building grammatically correct speech.

The Head of the psychological support department of the Department of Clinical Psychology of the Main Police Department of Chernihiv region, Oksana POLEHESHKO, and the Professor of the Department of Psychology, Sociology and Pedagogy, Svitlana KHARCHENKO, held a lesson on the topic "Disorders of consciousness, self-awareness and personality in neuropsychiatric diseases."

The first meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Law Enforcement Activities of the ERI No. 5 was held in a mixed format, in which the Head of the Department Iryna PANOVA, Associate Professor of the department and coordinator of the circle Daria HLUSHKOVA, as well as professor Mykola HOLUB and Associate Professor Olena DOVHAN, who traditionally provide scientific support and support for student initiatives, participated.

On the eve of the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work organized a visit to military personnel and police officers undergoing treatment and rehabilitation at the Territorial Medical Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

2nd year cadets of the Educational and Research Institute No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Vladyslav BEZNOSHENKO and Anastasia LIASHENKO visited Kamianets-Podilsky Lyceum of I-III degrees "Slavutynka".

On the occasion of the 84th anniversary of the Babyn Yar tragedy, for higher education students of the ERI No. 1-5 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs an information and educational event on the topic "The Babyn Yar Tragedy: Everyone Should Know About It." was organized. 

On this topic, cadets of the ERI No. 4 took an educational course on the platform "Diia.Osvita". During their studies, they learned about the principles of barrier-free living, the rights of people with disabilities, and tools for creating equal opportunities for all.
