
2nd year cadets of the Educational and Research Institute No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Vladyslav BEZNOSHENKO and Anastasia LIASHENKO visited Kamianets-Podilsky Lyceum of I-III degrees "Slavutynka".

On the occasion of the 84th anniversary of the Babyn Yar tragedy, for higher education students of the ERI No. 1-5 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs an information and educational event on the topic "The Babyn Yar Tragedy: Everyone Should Know About It." was organized.

On this topic, cadets of the ERI No. 4 took an educational course on the platform "Diia.Osvita". During their studies, they learned about the principles of barrier-free living, the rights of people with disabilities, and tools for creating equal opportunities for all.

Representative of the scientific circle of the department "Current problems of the theory and history of state and law", cadet of the ERI No. 1 Lidia ONIIENKO took part in a one-day training on the human rights protection of veterans and their family members, organized by the NGO "Legal Hundred" with the support of international partners.

Leading researcher of the Research Laboratory on Law Enforcement and International Cooperation of the ERI No. 5, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine Volodymyr HRECHENKO presented the library with several copies of the new monograph "Crime in Ukraine in the 20th Century."

In Kharkiv, Freshman Day was celebrated under the slogan "Dream. Act. Win." The event was organized by the Department of Science and Education of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Kharkiv Regional Youth Center, and Kharkiv Regional Council. The cadet and student self-government of the university joined the celebration.

Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of the ERI No. 5 of KhNUIA Oleksandr KUKHARIEV conducted a binary online lesson for first-year students in the academic discipline "Introduction to the specialty" on the topic "Characteristics of the legal profession and individual legal specialties."

The curator, lecturer of the Department of Criminology and Forensic Expertise, Yevhen ZOZULIA, met with 4th year cadets of the ERI No. 1. During the event, the main issues of organizing the educational process, academic integrity, and discipline were discussed.

A 2nd year cadet of the ERI No. 2, Oleh KOBENDA, became the winner of the Ukrainian Cup among men and women in sports and combat sambo, which was held in the city of Chernivtsi. In intense fights, Oleh demonstrated high sportsmanship and excellent physical training, taking 1st place in the weight category up to 64 kg.

The Autumn School on Investigating Crimes Related to Human Trafficking has begun in Lviv. The event is organized as part of a joint project of the OSCE Support Programme for Ukraine and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Police of Ukraine.
