According to the results of the first year of work, the annual plenary meeting of the International Research Consortium on the RESONANT project “Interdisciplinary Research Cooperation on Foreign Interference, Suppression and Manipulation of Information in Diaspora Communities”, implemented under the Horizon Europe program, was held in Munich.
The meeting of the group was held on the basis of the Department of Forensic Expertise of Kamianets-Podilskyi Khmelnytskyi Scientific Research Centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. The cadets got acquainted with the work of forensic experts, learned about how their work is organised in practice.
The members of the Scientific Society and the School of Scientific Leadership of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in an open online lecture by Tetiana Nizhynska, a consultant at the Centre for Information Support of Education and Research of the Library of Ihor Sikorskyi Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
Under the chairmanship of the Associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Yaroslav Lantinov, a scientific event dedicated to criminological topics was held. The participants of the meeting heard reports by student Victoria Kuzema and Associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Yurii Kaniberg.
Oleksii Zaitsev, Head of the Department of Civil, Labour and Commercial Law of the ERI No. 1, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor, made a report ‘Amendments to the Procurement Agreement’ during the III All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference ‘State and Legal Principles of Formation of the Security Environment in Ukraine in the Context of Modern Challenges’.
The members of the scientific group of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law considered the issue of gender equality in Ukraine, in particular in the police and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in an online format. The Head of the group, Associate Professor Yuliia Bezusa, revealed the concept of gender equality and the peculiarities of introducing the concept of gender equality in the police of Ukraine.
Victoria Bila, a 1st year master's student of the ERI №1, took part in the International Scientific Online Conference ‘Topical Issues of Legal and Historical Science’, during which a wide range of scientific research in the fields of law and history was presented, covering topical issues of our time.
Representatives of the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs - Head of the Department Tetiana Hudz and Professor of the Department Yurii Kolomiiets - joined the round table, organized by the Law Faculty of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University within the framework of the Jean Monnet module "Constitutional Law of the EU".
Lecturers of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of the ERI No. 5 and the Department of Civil, Labor and Economic Law of the ERI No. 1 took part in the scientific and practical conference "Problems of improving private law mechanisms for the acquisition, transfer, exercise and protection of subjective civil and family rights in modern conditions."
On the initiative of the scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-Trial Investigation, cadets of the ERI No. 1 and ERI No. 4 took part in the All-Ukrainian Student Scientific and Practical Conference "Current Issues of Human Rights Protection: Current Status, Problematic Issues and Ways to Solve Them."
