
The scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Forensic Science and Forensic Expertise of the ERI No. 1 continues to deepen the practical training of future law enforcement officers. As part of the study of the discipline "Forensic Science", a practical lesson was held at a specialized training location that recreated the atmosphere of a torture chamber.

The Student Council of the ERI No. 5 held a patriotic quiz game “Ukraine is my home”, dedicated to the Day of Defenders of Ukraine. Participants answered questions on the history, culture, traditions and modernity of our state. The game took place in a friendly, but at the same time competitive atmosphere.

2nd year cadets of the ERI No. 3 deepened their knowledge of the educational component "Ensuring human rights in the activities of the criminal police" during a lesson conducted by Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Activities Anastasia BAIBAK and Head of the Department Olena DZHAFAROVA.

Mykola NYZHNII, a student of the barrier-free driving school, who uses a wheelchair due to an accident, is completing the theoretical course of study. Studying at a driving school is an important stage on the way to realizing a dream and a symbol of personal victory over circumstances.

Employees of the Department of Legal Support of Entrepreneurial Activity and Financial Security – Head Olha HETMANETS and Senior Lecturer Anna SUSHKOVA – completed the course “The Women, Peace, Security Agenda”. The course was developed by the Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance (DCAF).

The event was held with the participation of representatives of the department - the Head, Doctor of Law, Professor Mykhailo SHCHERBAKOVSKYI and Associate Professors of the same department, Candidates of Law, Associate Professors Viktoriia VINTSUK and Olena SOLOVIOVA.

Leading researcher of the Research laboratory of socio-psychological support and rehabilitation of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the ERI No. 3 Yevhenia HLADKOVA, together with a team of volunteers of the Charitable Organization “Palms of Peace” Charity Fund, donated medical equipment – centrifuges for blood purification – to the city children's polyclinic No. 1 of Kharkiv.

The Department of Civil, Labor and Economic Law held a roundtable discussion of the academic circle dedicated to the Day of Defenders of Ukraine. The participants discussed issues related to service in the National Police and social protection of police officers under martial law.

Tetiana KYRYCHENKO, professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of the ERI No. 5, held an online conversation with high school students of Kharkiv Lyceum No. 138 on the topic “Legal mechanisms for combating bullying and the responsibility of perpetrators.”

The Student Council of the ERI No. 5 held an event attended by representatives of the general library of KhNUIA, students of the institute and students of lyceums. The participants were presented with materials about the importance of books and libraries in modern society, as well as the role of libraries in the development of education and culture.
